It's all about the food.

What's this Blog all about?
A few months ago Richard Mitchell Gave me the opportunity to submit an abstract paper for a conference. The abstract (with a bit of tweaking) was dually accepted and before I could say monte au beurre we were off to a 15th century castle in Austria to deliver a paper.
This has put me in the unique position to document a culinary journey through seven countries in just 21 days. I hope to snapshot the everyday food within the local environment as well as tick off a few culinary "must do's" along the way.

We start our journey slowly on the 16th of September 2013, with two nights in Auckland then it's off to Tokyo Japan for two nights. A long haul over the Arctic circle and down over Europe transports us to Graz in lower Austria for the conference. Moving by train through to Vienna gives us an opportunity  to discover Mozart's fare before traveling to Prague were I'm told there will be very good Beer coupled with the finest charcuterie. The EuroStar will move us through to Berlin then a short excursion to Copenhagen before returning to Germany then onto Hong Kong and home to New Zealand. So....follow along, I will endeavour to post as frequently as time (or sleep) will allow. And will do my best to keep true to the Blogs title....It's all about the food.
