6.30am up and at em in Auckland, dropped the car off and checked in for the flight to Tokyo.
We had a fairly comfortable 10 hr flight, not too many noisy kids or drunk 20 somethings...the food was ok....it was a long time between meals though.
Landed in Narita and caught the train into Tokyo, great service, fast and very efficient.
We had a try of a few food items on the train as well, Mackerel Sushi and Crumbed pork sandwiches....not bad. After getting a little lost we caught the right train for the hotel area, checked in and went out for a beer and another wee bite. We found a great little street cafe serving bbq, soups, veg...all sorts so we asked the chef to cook for us....great meal.
After that we walked off dinner and Rich decided to play the "Lets eat something random" from a supermarket game, not a bad game at 11.00 at night hope he doesn't end up with the squids in the morning.
